Family trips in Nepal
Routes with drives under five hours, walks children can finish, jungle days in Chitwan, boating in Pokhara and a short trek such as Poon Hill or Dhampus that ends at a lodge with hot water.
Families travel better with fewer hotel changes and shorter days. We cap most road days, choose lodges with space and plan activities with a clear start and end.
High routes are harder on children, who may not report altitude symptoms clearly. We usually keep families below 3,000 m and explain why before you book.
